Our commitment to the environment also includes protecting marine life through bycatch reduction technology and turtle excluder devices, ensuring our fishing methods are efficient and eco-friendly.
In addition to our sustainable fishing practices, Austral leads the way in climate action, being certified as the first seafood business in the world to be carbon neutral under the Australian Government’s Climate Active Program. Since 2016, we’ve planted over 3 million native Australian trees in Western Australia to offset carbon emissions.
We also prioritise environmentally conscious packaging, using recyclable and biodegradable materials to ensure our prawns reach you in peak condition while minimising our ecological impact.
